There is simply too much offensive disparity between these rivals to justify a small spread. Dallas has rung up 121 more points this season than New York, and the gap over the last three weeks is a yawning 108-26. In a big-stakes game, Cowboys QB Andy Dalton can be trusted more than New York's Daniel Jones. Dallas pass rusher Randy Gregory is coming off a mega-disruptive performance and could chase the less-than-healthy Jones to the locker room. The Giants have the upper hand defensively, but the difference is not as wide as the one between the offenses.
The Cowboys will be missing linebacker Leighton Vander Esh and safeties Darian Thompson and Xavier Woods, plus three assistant coaches. The Giants' running game should bounce back in a big way here. With Daniel Jones looking a bit more spry this week, I'll back the home dog.
The Giants should be able to run on this awful Cowboys defense that's last in the league against the run, allowing 161.1 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile New York's defense is good, allowing just 22.5 points a game. This is the kind of game that Dallas loses. I love New York.
