Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes returned to the lineup Monday as Toronto notched an impressive 100-88 win over Cleveland. Siakam played 30 minutes, getting 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Barnes was plus-12 in 27 minutes. While the Pelicans get Larry Nance Jr. back in the lineup tonight, they remain without Brandon Ingram, C.J. McCollum and Naji Marshall. Toronto ranks first in defensive turnover rate and should disrupt New Orleans' offense. Lay the points.
The Raptors were excellent on the road last season, posting a 24-17 record away from Toronto. They are just 3-7 on the road this season, but some of that can be attributed to their myriad of injuries. For example, Pascal Siakam did not play in any of their last four losses on the road. They have only won one road game with him sidelined. He is healthy now, along with Fred VanVleet and Scottie Barnes also being back on the floor. Meanwhile, the Pelicans will have to play their second straight game without CJ McCollum (conditioning) and Brandon Ingram (toe). With those two out Monday, they pulled off just a four-point win at home over the Thunder. The Raptors are in much better shape on the health front, so look for them to get back on the winning track on the road.
