Not only have the Nuggets lost out on the top seed in the Western Conference, but they are now in danger of falling down to the third seed. They gave a few of their star players rest on Sunday, so it would seem likely that they will have their full complement of weapons Tuesday. The Jazz will be without Ricky Rubio (quad) and Kyle Korver (knee), so I’ll take the Nuggets and the points.

Utah has won eight straight home games versus the Nuggets, but the Jazz are resting a few key players and Denver's ideal playoff scenario calls for the Nuggets to grab the No. 2 seed, with Portland moving up to No. 3 and Houston falling to fourth. The Rockets need to lose to OKC for that to happen and the Nuggets tip off earlier. So expect a strong effort from Denver, and grab the points.
