Inching closer to the All-Star break, some teams are experiencing tired legs. That shouldn’t be the case for the Dallas Mavericks because of their recent trade with the New York Knicks. New minutes are available but with that comes expected lulls defensively. Grab the Over tonight between the Hornets and Mavericks.

The new-look Mavericks will lean on two rookies in their starting lineup in Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson. Against a Hornets veteran team one would expect issues with a favorite on such a number. Yet the Hornets have had issues maintaining consistency for four quarters as was the case in last night’s blown lead against the Clippers.

The Hornets are 7-18 on the road and coming off a devastating home loss Tuesday. The Mavs are fresh after three days off, and enter on a 6-0-1 ATS tear. Even with Dallas absorbing three new players from the Knicks, I'm laying the points.
