Pace and scoring-wise, this ALDS matchup has slowed down in the past two games, For that to continue in Game 4, it would help if KC's Michael Wacha can handle the Yankees batting order better than he did in Game One (3 runs and 4 hits allowed in 4 IP of a 6-5 loss), but Matt Quatraro has his bullpen on red-alert. More convinced that Gerrit Cole takes this a bit further for the Yanks, though he wasn't much better than Wacha in Game One. Cole, however, entered the postseason on a heater, allowing just one run and four hits across 15 2/3 IP in his last two regular-season starts vs. the A's and Orioles. Play Yankees-Royals Under

The Yankees can close it out today up 2-1 but they're only hitting .211 as a team. Aaron Judge hasn't been hitting but Kansas City isn't hitting either. Gerrit Cole is starting and he's won his last three starts for the Yankees. He started game one and allowed four runs in five innings. He wasn't his sharpest. But he's beat the Royals three straight times. Cole wins, Yankees close out the Royals.
