Managers want to let their starting pitchers go at least five full to qualify for a win. Brown hasn't been very good this season and only gone at least five twice but I have faith. The first inning will tell us a lot as to whether he has any control.

Seattle has its share of hitting woes but Hunter Brown should be the antidote to some of that. Brown's ERA is a hair below 10 and Bobby Miller is throwing swing-and-miss gas for the Mariners, who are used to winning low-scoring games if need be. Stros have allowed an astounding 49 runs in Brown's 6 starts, and at least 5 in every outing. Mariners staff should be able to do plenty if provided anything close to that run support on Sunday.
