The Giants lineup has been a problem all season, they can't get anything going and while the Phillies haven't seen SF start before, they have a lot of bats going right now (though the Turner injury will sting). The Phillies have won Ranger Suarez's last 5 starts all by 3 runs or more. They RD in his 6 starts is +24, allowing 4 total runs in his last 5 starts. His stuff is electric and Jorge Soler is the only Gigante who has flashed power against him in the past. Keaton Winn's numbers look good but his last 4 starts are all against teams that cant hit (TB, MIA, NYM, PIT). Different challenge on the road today in a smaller park than he's used to

"Your NL Cy Young Award winner for 2024...Ranger Suarez of the Philadelphia Phillies!" That's a hypothetical, of course, but if the voting were to be conducted today, Suarez would have as good a chance as any, already 5-0 with a 1.32 ERA and 0.63 WHIP. He's also working deep into games, with a recent complete-game shutout of the Rockies, and across his last two starts vs. the Reds and Padres, he's allowed one run and five hits thru 15 IP, with 13 Ks and 1 walk. Moreover, the Phils are now an MLB-best 22-11 after last night's 4-3 win. The Giants have also won in the last three starts made by Keaton Winn, but Bob Melvin's offense remains inconsistent. Play Phillies on Run Line

This is a tall order for Giants starting pitcher Keaton Winn, who has been a bright spot in SF's underrated rotation. However, Winn isn't a big strikeout pitcher, has only eclipsed this in 3/6 starts, and hasn't exceeded 6 Ks this season making this number is closer to his ceiling, rather than his floor. Lastly, he is facing a very tough and explosive Phillies lineup that is 6th in OPS against opposing righties, in addition to sporting the 19th lowest K rate.
