The Giants could make it back to .500 on the season with a win and have won three of their last four while the Mets have lost three straight after winning 6 straight. Sean Manaea has been good in three of his last four starts but the one he was bad he was real bad allowing eight runs. He's won two of his last three. Blake Snell is a real mystery he allowed 12 runs in his last two starts and he's lost all four of his starts. The Mets win.
Haven't liked anything I've seen of Snell, who continues to fall behind everyone and get himself pined in fastball counts. He does that against The Polar Bear and it could get ugly. This is a nice return for a former HR king, who is off to a slower start but sees this starter well, He's 5/15 with 2 HRs in his career. Ballpark can play big but Snell throwing meatballs after signing late with SF.
Gigantes lineup still gives me quite a bit of pause and I like the way the Mets starter is faring and think he will pitch well in a return to the Bay Area. Blake Snell, on the other hand, looks like a guy who missed all of spring training looking for a big contract and never got what he wanted. Pete Alonso hits him well, Snell continues to lack control and walk too many men. Mets playing scrappy ball after a slow start and are better on the road than at home.
