    Max's Analysis:

Going to keep riding the Rangers. They have won five straight games and the Cardinals have lost five straight. Rangers have won eight straight home games by an average of 5.6 runs per game. Jon Gray has been great this season as he has a 6-1 record with a 2.51 ERA. The Cardinals offense has struggled recently. The Rangers won't need too many runs to cover this spread. Expect the Rangers to easily win this game by multiple runs.

    Matt's Analysis:

Would it surprise me if a suddenly resurgent Jack Flaherty led the Cards to the minor upset in Wednesday's finale? Not really, but we have to stay on the runaway train that is Texas. Jon Gray (6-1, 2.51) is now the team's ace with Jacob deGrom out until mid-2024 due to Tommy John surgery, and Gray is 5-0 with a 0.79 ERA in his past five. Leadoff man Marcus Semien is on a 25-game hitting streak (No. 2 in team history). Maybe the Cards rest an Arenado or Goldschmidt at the end of a six-game trip (0-5 on it so probably not).
