The Cubs don't have anything to play for but did activate Willson Contreras off the injured list today and also have Marcus Stroman on the mound. Frankly, I prefer him to Noah Syndergaard of the Phillies, who will piggyback Zack Wheeler -- who likely will be limited to about four innings. I'll take the runline at just -125. Chicago is 10-6 in its last 16 games and has played 50 one-run games, fourth-most in the majors. That's all we need.

Zack Wheeler is making just his second start since returning from the IL and he didn’t allow a run in his first start. Marcus Stroman is weirdly much worse at home going 1-5 with a 6.31 ERA this season. The Phillies have been worse on the road in the last 30 days at 3-9 but the Cubs have been worse at home at 3-6. The Phillies bullpen is rested after the off day and they have the better backend, I like the Phillies.
