The Diamondbacks are starting one of their best pitchers in Zac Gallen (5-2, 3.24 ERA), although he could be traded, but Cleveland's lineup is simply that much better than Arizona's, and Triston McKenzie is 3-1 with a 2,89 ERA at home. His overall 1.34 ERA in July was the third-lowest mark among qualified AL pitchers. Maybe the Snakes' top two relievers, Ian Kennedy and Mark Melancon, likely are both unavailable after pitching the past two nights.

On Monday, the Diamondbacks nearly pulled off the upset as steep underdogs to the Cleveland Guardians but fell 6-5 in extra innings. On Tuesday, the starting pitching for the D'backs should be much better with Zac Gallen on the mound, as he boasts a 1.01 WHIP.
