This has nothing to do with this pick, but I just read on ESPN that Oklahoma got a quarterback commitment from someone named General Booty. That is absolutely spectacular (guarantee you the ESPN editors only posted because of the name), I'm upset I didn't know about this person and poor kid's parents never gave him a chance. I was almost named Skywalker so thankfully common sense prevailed. Anyways ... we always back the Rox at home against bad teams. They have scored 10 in each of the first two of this series and may again vs. Daniel Lynch, who is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA on the road. Twitter: @jordanpaytonsn1
This series has had 38 runs over the first two games. The Rockies scored 10 runs in both games and are poised to do it again today against Royals started Daniel Lynch. The Royals should be able to put up some runs against the Rockies pitching. At Coors Field, 11 runs is not that many. Expect this game to easily go over the total.
The Rockies offense is rolling scoring 10 runs in both games this series. Royals starter Daniel Lynch has struggled on the road with a 4.91 road ERA. The Rockies should dominate him early and cruise to an easy win. Laying the extra run at +125.
The Rockies have the highest wOBA in the league against lefties and they will face lefty Daniel Lynch today. The Rockies are also much better at home going 12-6 while there are just 5-10 on the road. In the past three weeks, the Rockies still have the highest wOBA in the league against lefties. The Royals hit better against lefties as we saw on Friday, but they still don’t hit them well ranked just 24th overall in wOBA against lefties. Daniel Lynch has seriously struggled in two of his three road outings this season and Coors Field is the toughest assignment of them all. Austin Gomber thrives at Coors Field, and he has pitched three quality starts in his last four appearances. Take the Rockies at home.
