The Atlanta Braves welcome the Houston Astros to Truist Park for Game 3 of the 2021 World Series on Friday evening. First pitch from Atlanta is scheduled for 8:09 p.m. ET. Atlanta is the -111 favorite (risk $111 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Astros vs. Braves odds, while the over-under for total runs scored is 8.5. There are also plenty of 2021 World Series props to consider.
Before making any Astros vs. Braves picks, you NEED to see what SportsLine expert John Bollman has to say.
Bollman combines MLB front-office experience with a deep statistical background. Bollman, who has a master's degree in biostatistics, worked in the Toronto Blue Jays' analytics department in 2018, focusing on high-performance sports science and player development.
In his last 319 MLB picks, Bollman has gone 186-132-1, returning more than $5,900. Anyone who has followed his picks has seen HUGE returns!
The Astros reminded the baseball world of their offensive prowess in Game 2, blasting through Max Fried and Atlanta's run prevention. Houston led MLB in runs scored, batting average and on-base percentage during the regular season, and the team's lineup doesn't present any weaknesses. The Astros are also in a good position with Luis Garcia on the hill, as the rookie posted a 3.30 ERA across 155.1 regular season innings, with dominant numbers (.548 OPS allowed) against right-handed hitters.
The Braves also have a potent combination of offense and run prevention. Atlanta hit more home runs than any National League after the All-Star break, riding a remade outfield to one of the best closes in baseball. The Braves have power up and down the lineup, and Game 3 starter Ian Anderson has a strong playoff track record. The young right-hander has a career 1.47 ERA in seven playoff starts, including a 2.25 ERA in the 2021 postseason.
Now, Bollman has set his sights on Astros vs. Braves. We can tell you he is going over 2.5 on total bases for Astros outfielder Michael Brantley. He also has a STRONG money-line pick and has locked in on several other plus-money props. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
