The Golden State Warriors start a five-game East Coast road trip when they take on the Orlando Magic on Tuesday at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. After facing the Magic, the Warriors (47-24) face a gauntlet on the road: Heat, Hawks, Wizards and Grizzlies. Meanwhile Orlando (19-53) owns the second worst record in the NBA and is in the running for the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. ET. Golden State is listed as a 7.5-point favorite in the latest Warriors vs. Magic odds from Caesars Sportsbook while the Over/Under for total points scored is 214.5.
Before making any Magic vs. Warriors picks or NBA predictions, see what SportsLine's advanced computer model has to say. (Check out the odds of every game on SportsLine's NBA odds page.)
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 22 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 79-49 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning more than $2,400. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.
The model knows that Golden State has one of the best defenses in the NBA. The Warriors rank third in the league in defensive efficiency (106.2 points allowed per 100 possessions). They also rank fifth in the NBA in points allowed per game (105.2).
The model also knows that Orlando faces a Golden State team that is without Steph Curry. The Warriors are playing their second game since Curry sprained a ligament in his left foot, an injury that will force him to miss at least two weeks. The loss of Curry, who leads the NBA in 3-pointers made per game (4.5) and ranks 12th in the league in scoring, is a significant loss for a Golden State team battling for playoff positioning in the Western Conference.
Now, the model has simulated Warriors vs. Magic 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Over the total, predicting a combined 219 points, and it also says one side of the spread covers over 50 percent of the time. You absolutely need to see it before locking in your own picks.
Who wins Warriors vs. Magic? And which side of the spread covers in over 50 percent of simulations? Join SportsLine right now to see which side of the Magic vs. Warriors spread you need to jump on, all from the computer model that has crushed its NBA picks.
