After a sensational opening match at the FIFA World Cup 2026, the USMNT will take the pitch again as they face Australia on Friday. The Americans defeated Paraguay, 4-1, last Friday and currently top Group D, as they have the goal differential over the Australians, who won their opening match, 2-0, over Turkiye. With a victory, the United States can clinch a spot in the 2026 World Cup Round of 32, with a group stage match to spare. Christian Pulisic (calf) has been ruled out for Team USA.
Kickoff is at 3 p.m. ET in Seattle. These nations played a friendly in Oct. 2025, which the USA won by a 2-1 score. The latest USA vs. Australia odds from FanDuel Sportsbook list the USMNT at -160 (risk $160 to win $100) on the 90-minute money line, with Australia at +420 and a draw at +320. The over/under for total goals is 2.5.
