Allan Bell is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure, Micah Roberts and Justin Perri on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college football, college basketball and NBA for Saturday, Nov. 20.
Bell starts things off with the SportsLine Play of the Day, courtesy of Matt Severance: Utah State (-5) to cover against Wyoming (8 p.m. ET). "This number should be -7, -7.5," Bell says.
Roberts' first play comes in college football: Kansas State (-1) to cover against Baylor (5:30 p.m. ET). "I just think the letdown is too big for Baylor," Roberts says.
His second play comes in college basketball: Drake (-4.5) to cover against Richmond (1 p.m. ET)."This team is completely stacked," he says.
His final play comes in the NBA: the Blazers (-6) to cover against the 76ers (10 p.m. ET). "[The Blazers] are terrible on the road, but at home they don't lose," he says.
All three of Perri's picks come in college basketball. The first is UT-Rio Grande Valley (+2.5) to cover against Northern Arizona (2 p.m. ET). "The model makes them -2 today," he says.
His second play is DePaul (-9.5) to cover against Western Illinois (8 p.m. ET). "DePaul has actually been playing really good basketball," Perri says. "They're 2-0-1 against-the-spread."
Perri's final play is Purdue (-6) to cover against North Carolina (4 p.m. ET). "I just think Purdue looks way too good to be getting a -6 line against anybody," he says.
McClure's first play comes in college basketball: Tennessee (+2.5) to cover against Villanova (1 p.m. ET). "[The Wildcats] are very good, but they're incredibly thin," he says.
McClure closes things out with a college football play: Under 14.5 in the first quarter of the Michigan State-Ohio State game (noon ET). "The blueprint for Michigan State is very, very clear: Keep Ohio State off of the football field," he says.
