The Detroit Tigers (43-73) and the Cleveland Guardians (61-53) face off in a doubleheader on Monday, with the first pitch set for 3:10 p.m. ET. Cleveland is listed at -235 favorite (risk $235 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Tigers vs. Guardians odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total runs scored is 7.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our MLB odds page).
Before making any Tigers vs. Guardians picks, you NEED to check out the MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it is a 300-260 on top-rated MLB money-line picks since the start of the 2021 season. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns.
The model knows Cleveland first baseman Josh Naylor is a power hitter who owns a strong lower half. Naylor's bat speed is above-average and he has the pitch recognition skills needed to make an impact. The 25-year-old has belted 15 home runs and knocked in 57 runs. On Aug. 12, he went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer.
The model also knows Detroit infielder Javier Baez is an all-around talent. Baez has a smooth-looking swing that can spray the ball anywhere on the field. The 29-year-old is leading the team in both home runs (11) and RBI (45). In his last contest, he went 2-for-4 with a double and one run was driven in.
Now, the model has set its sights on Tigers vs. Guardians. We can tell you the model is leaning Over the total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks.
