Teams that have had plenty of success in recent bowl games clash when the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers meet the No. 7 Clemson Tigers in Friday's Orange Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Volunteers (10-2) have won four of their past five bowl games, although they dropped a 47-45 decision to Purdue in last year's Music City Bowl. The Tigers (11-2), who have won four of the past six bowl games they participated in, defeated Iowa State 20-13 last year in the Cheez-It Bowl. Clemson defeated Tennessee 27-14 in the 2003 Peach Bowl, the last time the teams met.

Kick off is set for 8 p.m. ET. Clemson is favored by 5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under is set at 61 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).

Before making any Tennessee vs. Clemson picks, you NEED to check out the college football predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $2,500 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

With junior quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei in the transfer portal, the model knows the Tigers will once again turn to freshman Cade Klubnik to line up under center. Klubnik was sharp in the ACC Championship Game win over North Carolina on Dec. 3. He completed 20 of 24 passes (83.3%) for 279 yards and one touchdown. He also carried seven times for 30 yards (4.3 average) and one touchdown. For the season, Klubnik has completed 31 of 46 passes (67.4%) for two touchdowns and one interception for a rating of 146.2.

The model also knows junior running back Jabari Small and sophomore Jaylen Wright are a solid one-two punch in the Volunteers' running game. Wright carried 135 times for a team-high 786 yards (5.8 average) and 10 touchdowns. He had a season-long 83-yard run in a 56-0 win at Vanderbilt on Nov. 26. In that game, he carried five times for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He carried 23 times for 96 yards (4.2 average) and two scores in a 63-6 win over Akron on Sept. 17. Small finished the regular season with 144 carries for 696 yards (4.8 average) and 12 touchdowns.

Now, it has set its sights on Tennessee vs. Clemson. We can tell you the model is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in 70% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks.
