Steelers vs. Patriots NFL Week 14 lines, odds, picks: Thursday Night Football predictions and best bets from proven model

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Thursday night's game between Pittsburgh and New England

The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to maintain their hold on a spot in the NFL playoff picture when they kick off Week 14 of the 2023 NFL schedule against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. The Steelers will be without starting quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle). New England will be without top running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who exited the loss to the Chargers with an ankle injury, and receiver Demario Douglas (concussion).

Kickoff at Acrisure Stadium is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. Pittsburgh is a 6-point favorite in the latest Steelers vs. Patriots odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 30. Before making any Patriots vs. Steelers picks of your own, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season on an incredible 176-128 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. It also is on a 30-20 roll on top-rated NFL picks since Week 7 of last season and is 31-12 straight-up the last three weeks.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP!

The model knows Pittsburgh will have Mitch Trubisky under center, as Kenny Pickett underwent surgery after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the loss to the Cardinals. The 29-year-old Trubisky, who was selected by Chicago with the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, went 2-3 in five starts for the Steelers last season and owns a 31-24 career record as a starter.

The model also is aware that New England is the first team since the 1938 Chicago Cardinals to lose three consecutive games in which it allowed 10 points or fewer. The Patriots rank eighth in total defense with an average of 310.5 yards allowed and are fourth against the run, limiting opponents to 88.7 yards per game on the ground.

Now, the model has set its sights on Steelers vs. Patriots on Thursday Night Football. We can tell you the model is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread cashes in well over 50% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NFL picks.

So who wins Steelers vs. Patriots on Thursday Night Football, and which side the spread hits well over 50% of the time? ... Join SportsLine now to see which side of the Patriots vs. Steelers spread to back, all from the model that's an amazing 176-128 on NFL picks!
