The 2019 Royal Rumble will take place on Sunday, with the main card beginning at 7 p.m. ET. In both the men's and women's ranks, 30 wrestlers will compete in an over-the-top match with the winner choosing which title he or she fights for at WrestleMania 35.
It's one of the most exciting pay-per-views of the year, and you'll want to see the picks from SportsLine wrestling expert Adam Silverstein before you lock in your bets. Silverstein nailed both winners of last year's Royal Rumbles, and anyone who followed his lead is up BIG.
Now, he's revealing strong picks for both the men's Royal Rumble and the women's Royal Rumble that could turn your Sunday into a HUGE night.
For the women's Royal Rumble, we can tell you that Silverstein is all over Ember Moon (25-1). The event is all about setting up a successful WrestleMania, and Silverstein knows a win by Moon would fit the company's plans.
"If WWE does not use the Ronda Rousey storyline for the Rumble, Asuka will likely need her opponent coming out of the event," Silverstein said. "Rekindling the rivalry with Moon and potentially moving her to SmackDown makes a lot of sense if Lynch and/or Charlotte Flair will head over to Raw after WrestleMania."
Silverstein also has a pair of strong picks for the men's Royal Rumble, including a long shot who pays out over 20-1 and fits into what could be a thrilling WWE storyline. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before you lock in your own picks.
