The big names have come and gone off the market.

But there are waves during the NFL free agency period. We're in the second wave now, and there are a number of players who can be immediate difference-makers on the right team, often at a price substantially lower than many of the first-wave free agents.

SportsLine's oddsmakers have released odds on where some of the top remaining free agents sign for 2018.

    NAVORRO BOWMAN, LB

    Oakland Raiders 2/1
    New Orleans Saints 6/1
    Dallas Cowboys 6/1
    Pittsburgh Steelers 8/1
    Buffalo Bills 8/1
    Field 5/1

Bowman joined the Raiders in Week 7 and started every game, registering 127 tackles in that short time. The four-time All-Pro who turns 30 before the 2018 season had more than 140 tackles in four straight seasons with the Niners before an Achilles injury crushed his 2016 season. The Raiders want him back and while it hasn't happened yet, there's little indication any other team is in the running to secure his skills.

    BASHAUD BREELAND, CB

    New England Patriots 5/1
    Green Bay Packers 8/1
    Miami Dolphins 8/1
    New York Giants 10/1
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10/1
    Field 2/1

Breeland, 26, allowed just 27.8 yards per game last year, fourth-lowest in the NFL. He signed a three-year deal with the Panthers only to fail the physical thanks to an infection on his foot that will require months to heal. The Patriots and Packers both are in need of cornerback help -- he could step in and start for either contender right away.

SPORTSLINE: PROP BETS FOR PLAYERS ON NEW TEAMS

    JONATHAN CASILLAS, LB

    New England Patriots 3/1
    Indianapolis Colts 4/1
    New York Giants 7/1
    New York Jets 10/1
    Field 6/1

Casillas, 30, helped the Patriots win a Super Bowl in 2014 before taking a three-year deal to join the Giants. He played in just eight games last year (neck), but has already visited Indy and New England.

    JOHNATHAN HANKINS, DT

    Chicago Bears 3/1
    Detroit Lions 3/1
    Washington Redskins 4/1
    Tennessee Titans 6/1
    Seattle Seahawks 10/1
    Field 5/1

Hankins was cut by the Colts just one year into a big three-year deal. But he's a coveted player on the market, especially for teams that struggled against the run -- he ranked No. 3 among DL's against the run, per Pro Football Focus.

    AUSTIN HOWARD, T

    Baltimore Ravens 3/1
    New England Patriots 3/1
    Minnesota Vikings 4/1
    Denver Broncos 4/1
    Philadelphia Eagles 7/1

The Ravens declined an option on their starting right tackle after one season. Howard, 31, has yet to be picked up, but Baltimore is a candidate to re-sign him to a lesser deal.

CBS SPORTS: MOCK DRAFT OF THE OPENING 2 ROUNDS

    MARCEDES LEWIS, TE

    New England Patriots 2/1
    Denver Broncos 5/1
    Baltimore Ravens 8/1
    Oakland Raiders 10/1
    Seattle Seahawks 10/1

Lewis spent 12 seasons in Jacksonville before being cut on March 20. He's considered a solid blocker, veteran team player and serviceable No. 2 catcher at the TE slot. Sounds exactly what the Patriots would be in the market for.

    BENNIE LOGAN, DT

    Seattle Seahawks 2/1
    Washington Redskins 4/1
    Los Angeles Chargers 8/1
    Atlanta Falcons 8/1
    FIeld 4/1

The five-year run-stuffer had a subpar one year in Kansas City, making 35 solo tackles. Washington is reportedly using Logan as a second or third option, so look for Logan to sign with a team like the Seahawks, who also have a big need in the trenches.

    JORDAN MATTHEWS, WR

    Green Bay Packers 2/1
    Carolina Panthers 5/1
    Seattle Seahawks 7/1
    New Orleans Saints 7/1
    Tennessee Titans 12/1
    Field 3/1

Matthews underwent knee and ankle surgeries in December after managing only 25 catches for 282 yards in 10 games for the Bills -- his worst year since his rookie campaign of 2014 (76 for 872). At age 26, some team will get him a chance. He's visited the Panthers and Packers, but left each town without a done deal.

    DEMARCO MURRAY, RB

    Seattle Seahawks 3/1
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4/1
    Indianapolis Colts 6/1
    Green Bay Packers 9/1
    Pittsburgh Steelers 9/1
    Field 3/1

Most teams in dire need of a top running back have already found one in free agency, leaving Murray with fewer options. The three-time Pro Bowler coming off the worst season of his seven-year career, but is still considered a capable runner, receiver and blocker.

    ADRIAN PETERSON, RB

    Arizona Cardinals 6/1
    Houston Texans 6/1
    Seattle Seahawks 7/1
    Indianapolis Colts 9/1
    Washington Redskins 12/1
    Field 4/1
    No team 5/1

Peterson, 33, is a seven-time Pro Bowler and the 2012 NFL MVP, but injuries have taken their toll. He's played more than 10 games in a season once since 2013, and had played in just 13 the last two years. There aren't many Super Bowl contenders in the market for an aging, high-risk, high-reward running back these days. But if he doesn't mind taking a big pay cut, there will be teams willing to take a flier to see if he can regain his form.

    ERIC REID, S

    San Francisco 49ers 4/1
    Cincinnati Bengals 6/1
    New York Giants 7/1
    Kansas City Chiefs 7/1
    New Orleans Saints 10/1
    Los Angeles Rams 12/1
    Field 2/1
    No team 8/1

Reid, 26, played in 13 games and generated 67 total tackles with two INTs, but the Niners have elected to go in another direction after five seasons. Reid was the first to take a knee alongside Colin Kaepernick during the National Anthem, and he blames that as the reason he's generating little interest at this point. He announced he won't protest the anthem in 2018.

    KENNY VACCARO, S

    Dallas Cowboys 3/1
    Green Bay Packers 5/1
    Chicago Bears 5/1
    Cleveland Browns 5/1
    San Francisco 49ers 5/1
    Carolina Panthers 7/1
    Houston Texans 7/1
    Seattle Seahawks 8/1

Vaccaro underwent core muscle surgery in December and has declared himself fully healthy. Teams, however, must be pausing. He was expected to be a prized free agent safety that would generate big interest. The fifth-year pro has five INTs in the last two seasons, but in just 23 games. Just once has he played 16 games. Still, he could jump right into a leading role for a number of playoff contenders, including the Cowboys and Packers.
