Did you happen to hear that?
For only the second time in this crazy football season did we have a week in which there was not massive amount of carnage in Survivor contests everywhere. Here is Las Vegas, the drop off in Circa Survivor was minor, going from 660 live entries to 610 after the Dallas Cowboys found a way to blow a big lead at home to the Cardinals – but 350 of those remaining 660 entries were able to finally breathe easy after the Bengals flirted with disaster in a 43-36 victory over the Titans in overtime as two-touchdown home favorites.
The lone remaining three entries in both Circa Grandissimo and SuperSurvivor at the Westgate SuperBook all made it through to Week 9, but it wasn't without a sweat as all three Grandissimo entries were also relying on the Cincinnati Bengals to get them home with a win. We made note last week of the Grandissimo contest having only three remaining survivors and speculated whether or not they had worked out a deal with one another. My guess is they have, and it was interesting, if not telling, to see each of them on the same side. We'll see which direction they go this week.
