Playing Survivor this NFL season must feel like walking a tightrope blindfolded, not knowing when someone is going to cut the rope. Personally, I was knocked out of Circa Survivor in Week 2. We haven't even gotten into the meat of Week 8, yet Week 2 feels like 37 rollercoaster rides of emotion ago.
In all but one week this NFL season, multiple big favorites have taken a hard fall, knocking huge portions of Survivor participants to the floor. The Texans, Jets, and Panthers were the persona non grata in Week 7, taking out over 50% of those remaining in Circa Survivor, Circa Grandissimo, and Super Survivor for the second week in a row. It was in this column last week that we were marveling at the rate of elimination taking Circa Survivor down to less than 1,300 live entries and down to just eight live entries in both Grandissimo and Super Survivor at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Here we are a week later and 660 live entries remain – after 25,017 entries began the season on Sep 8. Circat. Grandissimo began the season with 77 entries and is now down to just three. Same with Super Survivor – down to just three after kicking off with 135.
