NFL Week 6 ATS power ratings: 49ers undeniably elite, plus ranking all 32 teams
The 49ers join the top tier with a win in Seattle as we set the spreads for every Week 6 game

I was not a believer in the 49ers before the season, thinking that early injuries coupled with personnel turnover could snowball into a disappointing season. Instead, the opposite has happened, with Kyle Shanahan and staff nailing the travel model for the Week 1 Australia trip, running through some questionable teams at home and then establishing themselves as clear contenders by winning in Seattle in Week 5. Credit to defensive coordinator Raheem Morris for keeping the defense playing well despite a number of injuries on his side of the ball, and credit to Brock Purdy for elevating himself into the MVP conversation despite the continued injuries at receiver.
With the Seahawks struggling on offense the past few weeks -- particularly with turnovers -- and with the Rams finding ways to lose that include travel and clock mismanagement, the 49ers have as good an argument as any team to be tops in the league. It's entirely possible the top three teams in the league reside in the NFC West, even with the Bills earning a statement win on the road against the Rams on Monday.
Below, I'll share my Week 6 spread power ratings and go step by step through the notable adjustments. Then, we'll look at my projected spreads for every game, see where we differ from the market, and try to ascertain why those discrepancies exist.
