The NFL's International Series heads to London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for an early 9 a.m. Sunday kickoff between the Colts and Commanders. Indianapolis is hoping to build on the momentum from its first win of the season: a nail-biting 19-17 victory over Houston capped off by a clutch fourth-quarter drive. Washington is coming off an upset over Seattle but heads into a challenging travel week with a lot of uncertainty in the lineup. Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback again with Jayden Daniels sidelined, and the defense is still dealing with injuries up front.
The Colts vs. Commanders matchup fits into a betting system that has hit at a 61.1% rate. The pick from the game is one of two I have for Week 4 of the NFL season, which is real value starts to surface. Three games in, public perception is completely warped by small-sample overreactions. Books inflate lines to capitalize on that bias, opening the door for two historically profitable situational spots.
Both systems have produced a selection, which is rated on a confidence scale from 0 to 5, where 5 means the highest level of confidence. I will also share my model's projection, which is a completely separate predictive metric. When my model and the system agree, that selection is more likely to bring home cash.
