NFL Week 3 ATS power ratings: Vikings, Falcons boosted by returning QBs, and projecting every spread
Injuries are playing a major part in ratings adjustments, with several starting QBs going in and out of lineups after Week 2

Injuries define every NFL season, and it's not taking much time at all for key injuries to become the story of 2026. At quarterback, Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams and Jaxson Dart all couldn't finish their games due to injury, and with all three likely to miss Week 3, the Commanders, Bears and Giants all see a significant downgrade in rating. On the other hand, the Vikings and Falcons are expected to get their No. 1 quarterbacks back this week, and that's big for Atlanta after suffering through the worst QB play in the league over the first two weeks.
But quarterback injuries are just the tip of the iceberg. The Packers lost Jayden Reed and multiple offensive linemen, the Colts lost Alec Pierce and have multiple cornerback injuries to overcome, and the Ravens and Patriots lost key offensive linemen to injury, just to name a few teams hit hard this past week.
Below, I'll share my Week 3 spread power ratings and go step by step through those notable adjustments. Then, we'll look at my projected spreads for every game, see where we differ from the market, and try to ascertain why those discrepancies exist.
