As with every season, Week 2 is the time to look at what happened in each team's opener and decide how much it mattered relative to expectations going into the season. For teams with uncertainty around important parts of the roster, the market will often treat 60 minutes of football as definitive with what's to come in the regular season. The Ravens' offense looked awesome under its new offensive coordinator/ The Broncos' offense? Not so much.
But how real should we treat Week 1 results? Last year, the Seahawks, Patriots and Bears all lost at home in Week 1 and went on to have successful seasons. On the other hand, the Jets scored 32 on a vaunted Steelers defense and finished the season 29th in scoring.
