As NFL survivor pools enter their third week, there have been plenty of surprises. Few picked the Commanders, Buccaneers or Falcons to be unbeaten, and they could be more appealing for your Week 3 NFL survivor pool picks. Before you make your Week 3 NFL survivor picks, you NEED to see which team the SportsLine Projection Model is backing.
The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season on an incredible 164-117 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. It is also on a 18-9 roll on top-rated NFL picks since Week 7 of last season.
The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP!
The model can be used to crush the Survivor Pool format, which calls for picking one team to win each week but never using the same team twice.
In Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, we can tell you the model is shying away from the Bengals, even though they are favorites over the Rams. L.A. ranks in the top 12 in points scored and points allowed, while Cincinnati is 29th in scoring and 19th in points allowed. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) hasn't looked healthy after his training camp injury and admitted he tweaked the injury in Week 2. His pocket mobility could be compromised against the No. 5 pass defense led by Aaron Donald. The model is saving the Bengals for another week.
Instead, the model is backing a team that has been on fire at home and is facing a reeling opponent! Picking this team will put you in the optimal position to win your NFL survivor pool this week. You NEED to see which team the model is backing before locking in your NFL survivor picks!
