The survivor pool options remain solid despite the NFL schedule marching into Week 16. Of those few who have negotiated their way through 15 weeks of upsets and bad luck, there is still a clear winning pathway. Week 15 had its share of drama as a number of favorites came up short including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys.
A popular choice this week is the Dallas Cowboys, who take on the visiting Los Angeles Chargers. Dallas (6-7-1) is in win or go home mode, while Los Angeles will need to win to keep its slim AFC West Division hopes alive. The Cowboys must win their final three games and have the Eagles lose their final three games for Dallas to make the playoffs. The Chargers, meanwhile, trail the division-leading Broncos by two games with three to play.
The Cowboys enter as a 1.5-point favorite in the Week 16 NFL lines, among the closest lines this week. The others are Packers (-1.5) vs. Bears and Bengals vs. Dolphins (-1.5) on Sunday.

Before making any Week 16 NFL survivor pool picks or NFL knockout pool picks, you NEED to see which team the SportsLine Projection Model is backing.
The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 16 on a 50-33 run on top-rated picks dating back to 2024. Anybody following could have seen HUGE returns!
The model can be used to crush the Survivor Pool format, which calls for picking one team to win each week but never using the same team twice.
This week, the model is shying away from picking the Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1), who are taking on the Los Angeles Chargers (10-4), as Dallas tries to keep its faint postseason hopes alive. The Chargers need a win to remain in the hunt for the AFC West title. The Cowboys enter as 1.5-point favorites, and have won the last two head-to-head matchups. Dallas earned a 20-17 win in each of the last two meetings in Los Angeles in 2021 and 2023.
The SportsLine model projects Dallas winning in 51% of simulations, making the Cowboys a team to fade. Instead, the model is CONFIDENTLY backing a team that wins outright in over 80% of simulations! Picking this team will put you in the optimal position to win your NFL survivor pool. You NEED to see which team the model is backing before locking in your NFL survivor picks!
