Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears led all quarterbacks in rushing in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season as he gained 65 yards in his team's 59-37 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen surpassed that mark in the Week 2 opener on Thursday night, accumulating 69 yards on the ground against the Detroit Lions in a 41-31 triumph.

Only four other quarterbacks reached the 40-yard mark in rushing last week, while four others gained at least 30 yards. One of those was Washington Commanders signal-caller Jayden Daniels, who ran for 31 yards in a 24-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Daniels, who had 891 yards rushing as a rookie in 2024, has a chance to improve upon that mark in another NFC East showdown in Week 2 as the Commanders (0-1) visit the Dallas Cowboys (0-1) at 4:25 p.m. ET. The 25-year-old appeared in only seven games in 2025 due to injuries - but one of them was at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex., where he gained 35 yards on eight carries.
For Sunday's clash between the Commanders and Cowboys, top sportsbooks have set the rushing yards prop for Daniels at 36.5 yards.
