The 2024-25 NBA season continues with a 12-game slate on Monday. With players such as Donovan Mitchell, LeBron James, LaMelo Ball and Jayson Tatum available as NBA DFS picks, who should factor into your daily Fantasy basketball strategy?
Before setting your NBA DFS strategy on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel for Monday, January 27, you need to see what Mike McClure has to say.
McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He's also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.
This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They're a must-see for any NBA DFS player.
On Tuesday (when McClure last made NBA DFS picks), McClure highlighted 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey as one of his top NBA DFS picks from the NBA DFS player pool on both sites. The result: Maxey had 28 points, two rebounds, 10 assists and two steals, returning 51.5 points on DraftKings and 49.4 points on FanDuel. Anybody who included him in their lineups could have been well on the way to a profitable day!
For Monday, one of McClure's top NBA DFS picks is Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, who is listed at $12,000 on DraftKings and $12,800 on FanDuel. Another part of McClure's optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Timberwolves power forward/center Naz Reid ($5,700 on DraftKings and $6,000 on FanDuel). Reid is averaging 13.6 points and 5.2 rebounds this season, including averaging 16.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in January. The Timberwolves are playing the Hawks, who are missing their two leading scorers -- Trae Young (hamstring) and Jalen Johnson (shoulder) -- and are 28th in scoring defense at 118.9 ppg as Atlanta enters on a four-game losing streak.
McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Monday! This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You absolutely need to see who it is before locking in any lineups.
