The Royals vs. Athletics matchup at 7:40 p.m. ET on the Wednesday MLB schedule isn't one that would normally stand out when looking for MLB DFS picks. Both teams are bottom feeders, but this is also the only contest of a 15-game slate which features a pair of starting pitchers with ERAs of at least 4.50. Thus, daily Fantasy baseball picks from it could be aplenty, with the likes of Bobby Witt Jr., Jac Caglianone and Zack Gelof looking appealing. Identifying batter vs. pitcher matchups which favor either side is MLB DFS advice one should heed before filling out lineups.
Before making any MLB DFS picks on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel for this slate, you need to see what Mike McClure has to say.
McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He's also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.
This allows him to find the best MLB DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only at SportsLine. They're a must-see for any MLB DFS player.
For Wednesday, one of McClure's top MLB DFS picks is Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts ($5,000 on DraftKings, $3,600 on FanDuel). McClure is also building his MLB DFS strategy around Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan ($3,100 on DraftKings, $2,700 on FanDuel). Cleveland will face a pitcher making his MLB debut in San Fran's Matt Wilkinson, and Kwan is coming off a Tuesday game versus the Giants in which he scored three runs and reached safely three times.
McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Wednesday! This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You absolutely need to see who it is before locking in any lineups.
