The Miami Marlins take on the Philadelphia Phillies in an NL East matchup at 1:05 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Philadelphia is listed as a -165 favorite (risk $165 to win $100), while the Over-Under is set at 9.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our MLB odds page). Before making any Marlins vs. Phillies picks, you NEED to check out the MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times and it is off to a strong start to the 2022 season. It's on a 55-42 roll on top-rated MLB money-line picks through 10 weeks, returning over $600 for $100 players. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns!
The model knows the Marlins have a star in Jazz Chisholm. The 24-year-old infielder launched a game-tying home run on Tuesday, and he is slugging .546 in 2022. Philadelphia starter Kyle Gibson has a 10.80 career ERA against Miami. That includes a start earlier this season in which the Marlins dinged Gibson for four runs in less than five innings of work.
The model also knows the Phillies have a powerful offense. Philadelphia is second in the NL in home runs and slugging percentage this season. The Phillies are also in the top five in runs, hits, doubles, and stolen bases. Philadelphia has the best player on the field in Bryce Harper, who enters with an OPS over 1.000, and the Phillies have home-field advantage.
Now, it has set its sights on Marlins vs. Phillies. We can tell you the model is leaning Under the total, and it also says one team has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks.
