The Miami Heat visit Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks in Game 5 of a second round series at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The Heat lead the series by a 3-1 margin. New York is favored by 3.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under is set at 209 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Heat vs. Knicks picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past four-plus seasons. The model entered the conference semifinals of the 2023 NBA playoffs a stunning 71-38 on all top-rated NBA picks this season, returning more than $2,800. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns!

The model knows the Heat have strong metrics on offense in the playoffs. Miami has scored more than 1.17 points per possession in the postseason, making 48.1% of field goal attempts and 38.5% of 3-point attempts. The Heat are also generating 25.7 free throw attempts per game in the series against the Knicks, averaging 2.23 assists for every turnover and giving the ball away on only 10.7% of offensive possessions.

The model also knows the Knicks remain stingy on defense. New York has allowed only 107.5 points per 100 possessions in the playoffs, including 104.6 points per 100 possessions in games at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks are also holding the Heat to 41.9% shooting and 30.8% from 3-point range, with Miami averaging only 22.3 assists per game in the series.

Now, it has set its sights on Heat vs. Knicks. We can tell you the model is leaning Over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
