Anyone who has played fantasy football regularly knows that the draft is just the start of cultivating a winning season. While a strong draft is a centerpiece, we've all suffered from circumstances such as injuries, players failing to meet expectations or a draft in which we didn't execute up to par. Even the most experienced fantasy players can whiff on the draft.
Regardless of your situation, waiver wire acumen is a key skill that will help you win leagues. Knowing who to bid on and who to pass on is also integral to refining your waiver wire chops.
Below, we will look at possible waiver wire claims heading into Week 2. Many leagues use the Free Agency Acquisition Budget (FAAB) to bid on players, and this is the more common practice in competitive leagues. But since some leagues still use waiver priority, we will address this platform as well. A player must have a 65% roster share or less on CBS in order to be considered for this piece.
