Fantasy Football 2024 projections: Projecting the Chiefs offensive players from Patrick Mahomes to Marquise Brown and more
SportsLine's Jacob Gibbs projects the Bills offense for 2024
Before diving into Fantasy analysis for each team, I'll present a brief overview containing their offensive ranks in my baseline team projections as well as any notable coaching or offensive line changes.
Projected Offensive Plays – (2nd)
Projected Passing TDs – 33.8 (1st)
Projected Rushing TDs – 15.6 (27th)
Notable coaching changes:
- Nothing to see here!
Notable offensive line changes
- Drafted left tackle Kingsley Suamataia in Round 2
- Drafted a center in Round 5 and a guard in Round 7
- Let starting left tackle Donovan Smith walk in free agency, he has yet to sign with a team
Ideally, Suamataia won't need to see the field much as a rookie. Kansas City's 2023 Round 3 selection Wanya Morris started a handful of games for Smith late in the year and recorded a PFF grade (55.4) that was right in line with Smith's (57.3). Morris is the presumed starter at LT for the time being.
Brandon Thorn ranked Kansas City inside his top-five offensive line units for 2024, which could come to fruition with better right tackle play from 2023 big-money acquisition Jawaan Taylor. The Chiefs have the NFL's best interior offensive line between Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith, and this unit could be the league's best if the tackle play improves.
