Fantasy Football 2022: A winning strategy for drafting the quarterback position in standard and two-QB leagues

SportsLine's top-ranked expert Jacob Gibbs outlines how to approach the quarterback position in your 2022 Fantasy Football drafts.

Conventional wisdom tells us to wait to address the quarterback position in leagues that require just one QB starter. With this thought process continuing to become more mainstream, the average draft position for quarterbacks continues to drop. As a result, the true difference-makers at the position can sometimes be had at a value if the majority of a draft room plans to wait to address the position -- at what point is it worth it to grab a falling Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray?

And what about the growing fad of rostering two starting quarterbacks? The entire thesis behind waiting to draft a QB is based around positional scarcity, but that goes out the window in a two-QB or superflex league in which 20-plus quarterbacks are going to be started. How early should we target the quarterback position in this type of format? Regardless of your format, if you're unsure of what your strategy should be at the QB position, you need to see what SportsLine's highly-rated expert Jacob Gibbs has to say.
