Finding the essential additions to your Fantasy team via the waiver wire can be the difference between continuing to win or embarking on a losing streak, especially as the injuries pile up. Before you determine which players you should target on the Fantasy football waiver wire this week, you NEED to see what Scott Engel has to say.
Engel is an inaugural member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association's Hall of Fame. He is a four-time FSWA Award Winner and nine-time finalist, and has pulled off a three-peat in his prestigious New York City Fantasy Football League that includes other experts and high-stakes players. If there's anyone who knows what it takes to win a league, it's him. Engel went 13-3 in his seasonal Fantasy Football leagues in Week 1.
Now, he's revealed the best widely available free agents ahead of Week 3. One player Engel is advising Fantasy players to target on the Week 3 waiver wire: Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman.
Pittman is a promising big target who could make many significant grabs while Parris Campbell (knee) sits out. Philip Rivers no longer is much of a downfield passer and should take to the rookie more frequently on key passing downs over a full game. His size and strength could also make him a viable TD target near the goal line. Pittman can make an immediate impact since the Colts have a very friendly matchup in Week 3.
Engel is also all-in on another wide receiver with MASSIVE upside! This player is still widely available and could be a huge boost to your roster moving forward! Anyone who adds this player could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before making any Week 3 waiver wire claims.
