A receiver needs targets in order to be productive in Fantasy football. If a receiver isn't seeing his share of targets, his Fantasy value plummets. And before you make any kind of roster move involving a wide receiver, tight end or running back who is heavily featured in the passing attack ahead of Week 5, you'll want to see Jody Smith's analysis and breakdown of each team's passing attack.
Smith has been working in the Fantasy industry for many years and has contributed to virtually every meaningful publication and website in the industry. He was also named The Most Accurate Expert for the 2012 NFL season at FantasyPros.com.
One thing we can tell you from his breakdown ahead of Week 5: Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson remains a must-start regardless of who Chicago starts at quarterback.
"Robinson will still be a strong WR2 on a week-to-week basis, even if the Bears go back to Mitchell Trubisky at some point," Smith said. "Robinson has at least 9 targets in each of Chicago's four games, so expect another busy evening this Thursday against Tampa Bay."
Smith has also identified a receiver who got double-digit targets last week, but could be due for some regression because the offense seems more committed to the run. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his data and analysis before setting your Fantasy lineups.
So which wide receivers can you trust moving forward? And which receiver who received a ton of volume in Week 4 could be due for regression? ...
