A receiver needs targets in order to be productive in Fantasy football. If a receiver isn't seeing his share of targets, his Fantasy value plummets. And before you make any kind of roster move involving a wide receiver, tight end or running back who is heavily featured in the passing attack ahead of Week 12, you'll want to see Jody Smith's analysis and breakdown of each team's passing attack.
Smith has been working in the Fantasy industry for many years and has contributed to virtually every meaningful publication and website in the industry. He was also named The Most Accurate Expert for the 2012 NFL season at FantasyPros.com.
One thing we can tell you from his breakdown ahead of Week 12: Rams wide receiver Robert Woods continues to make plays with the ball in his hands.
"Robert Woods had season-best numbers across the board and now ranks 7th in the NFL with 335 yards after the catch despite ranking just 83rd with 11.1 yards per reception," Smith told SportsLine. "Woods is simply making things happen as a ball-carrier, as evidenced by his 19/107/2 line as a rusher."
Smith has also identified a receiver who got double-digit targets last week, but could be due for some regression playing in a crowded offense. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his data and analysis before setting your Fantasy lineups.
So which wide receivers can you trust moving forward? And which receiver who received a ton of volume in Week 12 could be due for regression? ...
