A receiver needs targets in order to be productive in Fantasy football. If a receiver isn't seeing his share of targets, his Fantasy value plummets. And before you make any kind of roster move involving a wide receiver, tight end or running back who is heavily featured in the passing attack ahead of Week 11, you'll want to see Jody Smith's analysis and breakdown of each team's passing attack.
Smith has been working in the Fantasy industry for many years and has contributed to virtually every meaningful publication and website in the industry. He was also named The Most Accurate Expert for the 2012 NFL season at FantasyPros.com.
One thing we can tell you from his breakdown ahead of Week 11: Vikings rookie receiver Justin Jefferson is the real deal.
"The guy who replaced Stefon Diggs, first-round rookie Justin Jefferson, looks like the real deal. Jefferson shredded an elite Chicago secondary to the tune of eight grabs and 135 yards on Monday Night Football," Smith told SportsLine. "That 135-yard effort was Jefferson's fourth of the season with triple-digits and the most yards that any wide receiver has accumulated against the Bears all year. Like Diggs, Jefferson is making a name for himself as a big-time downfield threat."
Smith has also identified a receiver who got double-digit targets last week, but could be due for some regression playing in a crowded offense. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his data and analysis before setting your Fantasy lineups.
So which wide receivers can you trust moving forward? And which receiver who received a ton of volume in Week 11 could be due for regression? ...
