NL West rivals collide when the Los Angeles Dodgers (71-33) and the San Francisco Giants (51-54) square off on Thursday afternoon, with the first pitch set for 3:45 p.m. ET. Los Angeles is listed as the -225 favorite (risk $225 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Dodgers vs. Giants odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total runs scored is eight (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our MLB odds page).
Before making any Dodgers vs. Giants picks, you NEED to check out the MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it enters Week 18 on a 20-14 roll on top-rated MLB picks, returning almost $400 for $100 players. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns.
The model knows Los Angeles catcher Will Smith is an exceptional athlete with superb instincts. Smith rarely lets anything get past him and owns a strong throwing arm. The 27-year-old has a smooth swing for both power and average. He's hitting .262 with 15 home runs and 55 RBI. On Aug. 1, he went 2-for-5 with two doubles.
The model also knows San Francisco first baseman Brandon Belt brings a solid approach to the plate. Belt's swing is compact, allowing him to push the ball anywhere on the diamond. The 34-year-old is a reliable defender, with the ability to play left field as well. He currently has eight dingers and 21 RBI. On July 29, he went 2-for-4 with two singles.
Now, the model has set its sights on Dodgers vs. Giants. We can tell you the model is leaning Over the total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks.
So who wins Dodgers vs. Giants? And which side of the money line has ALL the value? Join SportsLine here to find out, all from the model that has crushed its top-rated MLB money-line picks!
