College football odds, lines, spreads: Picks, predictions, betting advice for Championship Week, 2023 from proven model

The SportsLine Projection Model, which has generated well over $2,000 for $100 college football bettors since its inception, has revealed its college football picks for Championship Week

After Washington and Liberty claimed conference titles on Friday night, there are eight FBS conference championship games on Saturday, headlined by No. 1 Georgia vs. No. 8 Alabama (+5) in the SEC Championship at 4 p.m. ET on CBS. That game, and the other three Power 5 championship matchups, could all have some impact on the College Football Playoff field. No. 7 Texas is -15 against No. 18 Oklahoma State in the Big 12, No. 2 Michigan is -21.5 vs. No. 16 Iowa in the Big Ten and No. 4 Florida State, potentially down to its third-string QB, is -1 against No. 14 Louisville.

Before making any Championship Week college football picks for those games or others in Week 14, be sure to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a strong profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It finished the 2023 regular season a profitable 13-9 on top-rated spread picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

Now, it has studied the latest college football odds (see the latest college football lines for each matchup this week on our college football odds page), simulated every single play for every Championship Week game, and the results are in.

One of the college picks the model is high on during Championship Week: No. 4 Florida State (-1) remains unbeaten with a win over No. 14 Louisville in the ACC Championship on Saturday night (8 p.m. ET). The Seminoles overcame a season-ending injury to star quarterback Jordan Travis last week, wrapping up a perfect regular season with a 24-15 win at Florida. They might be without backup Tate Rodemaker (head) in this one, but Louisville is coming off its second loss of the campaign, and the model has the Seminoles covering the small spread in well over 50% of simulations.

Another prediction: No. 16 Iowa (+21.5) easily stays within the spread against No. 2 Michigan in the Big Ten title game on Saturday in an 8 p.m. ET kickoff. The Hawkeyes have won four consecutive games, holding all four of those teams to 13 points or fewer. They have not allowed more than two touchdowns in a game since September, giving them a path to keeping this game close. Their offense has struggled at times, but their defense is why they are covering the spread more than 60% of the time.

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other FBS matchup, and it's calling for multiple teams to win by double digits!
