When it comes to college football, there are few who deserve the "expert" tag quite like Barrett Sallee. The CBS Sports writer and analyst hosts shows on SiriusXM College, writes for CBSSports.com and appears regularly on CBS Sports HQ as well as countless radio shows across the nation as a guest.
Sallee debuted with SportsLine in 2017 and has delivered in a BIG way. Over the past two-plus years, he is 102-86 in his popular best bets column. Anybody who has been following him is WAY UP.
Now, he's turned his attention to the latest odds from Caesars Sportsbook and is revealing his three top plays for bowl action on Thursday, Dec. 30. A parlay on these three picks would return around 6-1.
We can tell you Sallee is backing the Under (55.5) when No. 13 Pittsburgh and No. 11 Michigan State meet in the Peach Bowl at 7 p.m. ET.
"The Panthers won't have Heisman Trophy finalist Kenny Pickett at quarterback and the Spartans will tee it up without star running back Kenneth Walker III," Sallee said. "Those two facts in and of themselves are enough to be skeptical about this one. This will be one of those ultra-sloppy bowl games that serves more of a comedic value than anything else."
Sallee has also found two other picks he loves, including one on a favorite who is "far more equipped" than its opponent! You ABSOLUTELY need to see his best bets before locking in any college football picks.
