Bills vs. Rams lines, picks: Proven NFL model reveals selections for 2022 NFL Kickoff Game

SportsLine's projection model simulated the 2022 NFL season opener between Buffalo and Los Angeles 10,000 times and released its results

The Los Angeles Rams will begin defending their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history when they host the Buffalo Bills in the 2022 NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, Sept. 8. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Cal. is set for 8:20 p.m. ET. Buffalo is a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under for total points scored is 52 in the latest Bills vs. Rams odds from Caesars Sportsbook.

Before making any Rams vs. Bills picks of your own, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 138-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. Amazingly, it hasn't missed a top-rated pick since Week 15 last season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP.

The model knows Los Angeles posted a 12-5 record last season to win the NFC West for the third time in five years and knocked off Arizona, defending champion Tampa Bay and San Francisco in the playoffs before defeating Cincinnati 23-20 in Super Bowl LVI. Matthew Stafford was third in the NFL with 4,886 passing yards and second with 41 touchdown tosses in his first season with Los Angeles after spending his first 12 in the league with Detroit.

The model also knows the Bills, who won their second straight AFC East title with an 11-6 record, defeated New England in the wild-card round before losing 42-36 in overtime at Kansas City in a divisional-round contest that saw four leads disappear in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter. Josh Allen established himself as one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL, as he threw for over 4,400 yards (4,407) and 35 TDs (36) for the second straight year.

Now, the model has set its sights on Bills vs. Rams. We can tell you the model is leaning Under, and it also says one side of the spread cashes in WELL OVER 50% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NFL picks.
