Two AFC teams play their second preseason game when the Buffalo Bills host the Denver Broncos on Saturday at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. Both teams enter the game 1-0 in the preseason. Last week the Bills rallied to beat the Colts, 27-24, despite sitting out almost all of its starters on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile the Broncos did not play new quarterback Russell Wilson but still defeated a sloppy Cowboys team, 17-7.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET. Buffalo is a 6-point favorite in the latest Bills vs. Broncos odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points scored is 42.

Before you make any Broncos vs. Bills picks or NFL preseason predictions, you NEED to see which side SportsLine analyst and Denver expert Matt Severance is on.

Severance is a well-connected writer and handicapper who has worked in the industry since 2005. He enters the 2022 NFL season on a roll. He is 22-10 (+1076) in his last 32 NFL picks against-the-spread. He also has a keen eye for the Broncos, going 9-2 (+670) in his last 11 picks in games involving Denver.

Anybody who has been following him is WAY UP.

Severance knows that Buffalo takes the preseason seriously. The Bills have won nine straight preseason games, which ranks as the NFL's second-longest active streak behind the Ravens who have won a league-record 21 in a row. Buffalo is 11-5 in preseason games since Sean McDermott took over as coach before the 2017 season.

Severance also knows that Denver quarterback Josh Johnson is coming off an impressive performance. In last week's win over the Cowboys, the journeyman quarterback, who is competing for the backup job behind Russell Wilson, completed 16-of-23 passes for 172 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He finished with a 120.2 rating.

Now, Severance has locked in another confident against the spread pick for Bills vs. Broncos. We can tell you he's leaning Under the total, but he knows a crucial X-factor makes one side of the spread a MUST-BACK! You ABSOLUTELY need to see what it is before locking in any picks of your own.
