2026 Belmont Stakes odds, horses, field: Racing insider offers best bets, top picks for the final leg of the Triple Crown

Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will try to add a second jewel of the Triple Crown when he leaves the starting gate in the 2026 Belmont Stakes on Saturday at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Five weeks ago Golden Tempo capitalized on a pace meltdown and went from last to first to win the Derby at 23-1 odds. The connections of Golden Tempo decided to skip the second leg of the Triple Crown, the Preakness Stakes, to point to the Belmont. For Saturday he has been installed as the 9-2 third choice in the 2026 Belmont Stakes odds. Kentucky Derby runner-up Renegade is the 2-1 morning-line favorite, while Chief Wallabee, who finished fourth in the Derby, is the 3-1 second choice among the nine Belmont Stakes horses.
