2024 New England Patriots futures picks: Breaking down win totals, Super Bowl odds, schedule, depth chart and more

We start getting you ready for the 2024 NFL season with our early analysis of the New England Patriots odds and futures picks

It's a new dawn, it's a new day in New England, as Bill Belichick is not the coach of the Patriots for the first time since 1999. Through Belichick's Hall of Fame run as Patriots head coach, his defenses never lower than 17th in points allowed and finished outside the top 10 only six times in 24 seasons. Unfortunately the New England offenses took a dip after the departure of Tom Brady, culminating in Belichick's worst offensive season last year as the Patriots finished second to last in points scored and finished last in the division for the first time since his debut season.

The new era of New England football should look much like the old, at least defensively, as Belichick staffers Jerod Mayo and DeMarcus Covington rise to head coach and defensive coordinator, respectively, and the team should have 11 starters back in the fold including players returning from injury. What will change -- and what has to change -- is the offense, where Alex Van Pelt joins from Cleveland to run an attack led by No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye. The Patriots spent six of their seven draft picks on that side of ball, including two receivers in Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker to help Maye boost the upside of the passing offense.

If the Patriots offense can go from terrible to just mediocre-to-bad, they're certain to surprise some people. But a difficult schedule and a lack of established playmakers likely has the franchise thinking long-term rather than running up wins in Year 1.

Below, we'll go through the futures and win total markets for the 2024 New England Patriots, sharing odds from major U.S. and Nevada sportsbooks as well as the SportsLine Projection Model forecast for each betting market.
