2023 U.S. Open props, odds, picks, field: Golf expert reveals top sleepers, best bets, head-to-head matchups, one and done pick

Mike McClure has studied the 2023 US Open field, odds, and tee times and locked in his top golf prop bet picks this week

The U.S. Open 2023 begins on Thursday from the Los Angeles Country Club. The third major on the PGA Tour schedule features top golfers like Masters champion Jon Rahm, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, and PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka. Scheffler is the 13-2 favorite in the latest 2023 U.S. Open odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Other top 2023 U.S. Open contenders include Rahm (8-1), Koepka (17-2), Viktor Hovland (10-1), Rory McIlroy (11-1), and Patrick Cantlay (14-1).

If picking an outright winner doesn't intrigue you, be sure to check out the 2023 U.S. Open prop bets available this week. Golf prop bets are growing in popularity because they allow fans to follow the action throughout the weekend.

We simulated the 2023 U.S. Open 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up more than $10,200 on its best bets since that point, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. And at the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scottie Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, the model included Nick Taylor in its best bets to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. That bet hit at +7000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,900. McClure's best bets also included Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, even though he hadn't won a PGA Tour event since 2018.

This same model has also nailed a whopping nine majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns.

We can tell you that one of McClure's favorite 2023 U.S. Open prop picks is Tony Finau finishing in the top 10 on the final leaderboard at +350 odds. He's also backing Justin Thomas over Jordan Spieth in head-to-head golf betting at +105 odds!

McClure has also locked in a slew of other prop bets for the 2023 U.S. Open, including an EPIC long shot of almost 50-1 to win it all! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any picks of your own!
