The 2023 John Deere Classic tees off Thursday, July 6, from TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. Denny McCarthy is the 14-1 favorite in the latest PGA Tour odds, followed by Cameron Young (16-1), Russell Henley (18-1), Ludvig Aberg (22-1) and Adam Hadwin (22-1).

We simulated the 2023 John Deere Classic 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises. Join SportsLine here to see the model's shocking 2023 John Deere Classic projected leaderboard.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $10,200 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. And at the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scottie Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, the model included Nick Taylor in its best bets to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. That bet hit at +7000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,900. McClure's best bets also included Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

This same model has also nailed a whopping nine majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!

Young golfers have made their mark at the John Deere Classic in recent years, with five of the last 11 winners being first-time Tour winners. J.T. Poston is returning as the defending champion, but he is a longshot on the PGA odds board. Nine golfers in the top 50 of the world rankings are playing this week, which is the most at this event since 2012. This is the final tournament before the Tour heads across the Atlantic Ocean for the Genesis Scottish Open and The Open Championship.

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2023 John Deere Classic: Young, the highest-ranked golfer in the field and one of the top favorites, stumbles and barely cracks the top 10! Another surprise: Taylor Moore, a 30-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title and finishes in the top 10. He's a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday.

Also, the model is targeting FOUR other golfers with odds of 25-1 or longer who will make surprising runs! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2023 John Deere Classic picks!

So who wins the John Deere Classic 2023, and which HUGE longshots make a serious run at the title? ... Join SportsLine right now to see who you can bank on to win the 2023 John Deere Classic, and see which longshots make a run at the title, all from the model that's nailed 9 majors, including this year's Masters
